Podstawowa zasada działania pomp pneumatycznych polega na emisji strumienia cieczy lub gazu przez dyszę z dużą prędkością, co sprawia, że otaczająca ciecz, gaz lub materia stała ulega porwaniu i przyspieszeniu.
Zasada działania
Wynikiem tej czynności jest powstanie mieszaniny cieczy napędzającej i porywanej (zasysanej), której prędkość zostaje zredukowana a ciśnienie zwiększone w drugiej dyszy.
Praktyczne zastosowanie tej zasady wymaga prostego przyrządu składającego się zasadniczo z zaledwie 3 głównych części:
- dyszy napędowej
- dyfuzora
- głowicy
Systemy strumieniowe posiadają prostą konstrukcję, są niezawodne i wymagają niewiele konserwacji, jako że pracują bez części ruchomych.
