The ApolloMilkSystem automates two important timeconsuming work steps at the end of the milking process in order to keep udders healthy: the reliable and careful dipping of the teats after milking as well as the effective cleaning and disinfecting of the milking clusters between individual milkings.
Dipping in the liner – accurate and economical
- Optimal timing for dipping: Dipping takes place directly inside the teat cup while the cows teat is still stretched under vacuum. This ensures the dipping solution is applied at the ideal moment, when the teat skin is most receptive.
- Comprehensive teat protection: The dipping solution penetrates deeply into all folds and creases of the teat skin. The entire teat surface is evenly and thoroughly coated, leaving no area unprotected.
- Fresh and controlled dosing: The dipping solution is freshly provided for each application. The amount of solution can be individually adjusted and precisely controlled.
- Special dosing chamber for economical use: An innovative dosing chamber minimizes the consumption of dipping solution to only what is necessary. This saves costs and resources without compromising on protection.
- Consistent and reliable results: Automation eliminates errors and inconsistencies in the dipping process. This ensures consistently high udder health and reliable protection against infection.
Backflush – Reliable cluster disinfection
- Thorough removal of residues: After the dipping process, the milking cluster is removed and subjected to an intensive rinse. This step ensures that all residues from dipping solutions and milk are completely washed out of the cluster.
- Complete sanitization with disinfection solution: Following the rinse, the cluster is fully sanitized using a highly effective disinfection solution. This process targets and eliminates pathogens that may be present in the liners and milking cluster, providing a high level of hygiene before the next use.
- Reduction of pathogen transmission: By killing pathogens in the liners and cluster, the system significantly lowers the risk of spreading mastitis-causing bacteria from one cow to another during milking.
