Distillazione sotto vuoto
Gli eiettori di vapore multistadio sono comunemente installati nella colonna di distillazione sotto vuoto delle raffinerie di petrolio.
Dopo la fase della distillazione atmosferica, una grande quantità di greggio viene spinta nell’unità di distillazione sotto vuoto, che è uno dei macchinari più produttivi ma anche più critici presenti in raffineria.
All’interno della colonna di distillazione, il vuoto viene mantenuto tramite un eiettore di vapore multistadio composto da:
- eiettore booster (il primo eiettore collegato alla torre di distillazione),
- unità di condensazione e deaerazione principale, in taluni casi provvista anche di eiettore di vapore,
- pompa per vuoto ad anello liquido.
