The Head of Academy Portfolio Management (f/m/d), also referred to as Global Head of L&D, holds a strategic global position. This role ensures that the GEA Academy's learning and development (L&D) portfolio effectively addresses both current and future organizational needs. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Academy & Talent Solutions, your leadership will be pivotal in advancing innovative learning initiatives that drive organizational growth.
In partnership with a team of learning managers, you will lead the design and implementation of a business-relevant and compelling learning offer. This will involve close collaboration with business stakeholders and GEA’s division academies to align learning solutions with strategic business needs.
Develop and implement a global learning and development portfolio that equips the business with the essential skills, competencies, and capabilities needed to meet both current and future demands.
Create learning solutions that support GEA’s strategic initiatives and objectives.
Work closely with key stakeholders across various functions to identify learning and development needs and objectives, and deliver tailored learning solutions.
Ensure the delivery of learning solutions and paths that are specific to target groups, making them relevant, effective, efficient, impactful, and inspiring, using a variety of learning formats beyond traditional training.
Contribute to GEA's reputation as an employer of choice both internally and externally by offering an attractive learning portfolio.
Promote and facilitate continuous learning by providing engaging and impactful opportunities across the organization.
Lead a global team of more than ten learning managers and learning specialists.
Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Learning and Development, Organizational Development/Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Extensive experience in leading learning and development functions, including significant tenure in global leadership roles.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a proven track record of inspiring and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
Demonstrated success in designing and implementing impactful L&D programs and tools within a global company.
Language proficiency: English at least level C1, German at least level C1.
