
Sales & Commercial Technical Support
Lead technical engagement with service sales and key account teams to shape winning service upgrade strategies from early customer interaction through deal closure.
Translate customer needs, constraints, and pain points into clear technical scopes, solution concepts, and value-based proposals.
Provide technical support during customer discussions and negotiations to build confidence in solution feasibility, execution readiness, and risk management.
Proposal Excellence & Win-Rate Ownership
Own the technical quality, competitiveness, and clarity of quotations and service upgrade proposals.
Drive higher win rates by ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose, differentiated, and commercially viable.
Optimize offer preparation time, rework, and margin leakage through standardized solution concepts, costing logic, and engineering deliverables.
Analyze lost bids and proposal feedback to systematically close technical, scope, or costing gaps.
Design & Engineering Support
Develop and review process concepts, layouts, P&IDs, and technical specifications for powder handling service upgrades.
Lead equipment selection and sizing for powder handling applications including dry blending, pneumatic conveying, powder tipping, sieving, air dehumidification, powder packaging and others
Ensure proposed solutions are technically robust, scalable, and aligned with execution capabilities and internal standards.
Site Survey, Plant Health Check & Opportunity Identification
Conduct site surveys, audits, and plant health checks to assess customer needs, process performance, equipment condition, hygiene, safety, and compliance.
Identify bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities and convert findings into actionable, quotable service upgrade opportunities.
Technical Problem Solving & Execution Support
Lead structured troubleshooting of powder handling and process issues, remotely and on site.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring problems and define practical corrective and preventive solutions.
Provide technical support during commissioning, start-up, and critical service interventions when required.
Knowledge and Standards
Own the development and continuous improvement of standardized powder handling service upgrade solutions, including scope definitions, engineering deliverables, and technical assumptions.
Institutionalize lessons learned from proposals, site surveys, and executed projects to enable reuse, consistency, and scalability across the organization.
Professional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process / Automation Engineering, or equivalent engineering degree.
5 - 7 years of relevant engineering experience in powder handling processing or technical sales support within food, dairy, or chemical industries.
Strong understanding of powder behavior, solids handling, and hygienic design principles.
Proven experience supporting quotations, proposals, and customer-facing technical discussions.
Ability to translate technical complexity into clear, customer-relevant value propositions.
Hands-on project / engineering work experience with powder handling equipment and systems is mandatory requirement.
Familiarity with process automation (PLC / HMI / SCADA) is an advantage
