
Oversee the accounting function incl. accounts payables, accounts receivables, fixed asset, travel expense accounting and reporting services which include inter-company accounting and preparation of month end closing activities within
the defined scope with the BPO Provider
Support work relating to both internal and external audits in the periodic review of the company financial records and is responsible for the implementation of agreed upon recommendations resulting from the audit findings
Lead teams providing best-in-class, group-wide accounting support/services in BPO Finance for transactional activities
Support and provide expert financial advice to BPO Finance Strategy, Divisions, Regions and Countries regarding F&A processes
Drive the defined efficiency, optimization & automation potential of global, integrated processes, standards within the BPO Finance Strategy.
Ensure staffing and talent development in the BPO Finance Operation function.
The position entails dealing with tasks in the area of Accounting Services which are not fully determined
The tasks relevant for the position can only be performed by drawing on understanding acquired in more than one subject area
Have an academic degree in business administration or equivalent
Have at least 10 years of professional experience in accounting and/or related disciplines (finance, controlling and/or auditing is desirable)
Have multi-year experience in managerial positions
Demonstrates expert knowledge of (international) finance and accounting activities as well as IFRS
Profound knowledge of accounting, and finance as well as related processes
Demonstrates excellent communication skills and an affinity towards thinking in processes
Successfully managed high-performance teams with know-how and experience in a Business Process Outsourcer (BPO ) or Shared Service Centre (SSC) environment
Know-how in setting up an optimal BPO structure and work environment
Shows resilience when working in a fast-pace environment
Drives change management across the global finance functions in an integrative manner
Affinity for relevant IT tools and software (e.g., SAP's subsidiary ledgers - SD, FI, AM)
English (full proficiency) and German; preferably additional languages
