Student Assistant - Legal Department

Your responsibilities will span 2 key areas: 

• Supporting GEA’s lawyers and their business colleagues on issues relating to day-to-day business issues, ranging from technical collaborations with third parties, sales, legal trainings, project execution and disputes. 
• Occasionally, support the Legal Excellence Team who is responsible for improving the provision of legal service to the rest of the organization.  This will include implementing a number of legal tech and other digital solutions, putting you on the cutting edge of developments in legal departments.  

You enjoy immersing yourself into the legal and legal tech world. You are proactive and can contribute to definition of new tasks. You like to optimize processes; the status quo needs to be challenged. At the same time, you have a strong grasp of basic contract, construction law, tort and IP principles (or are willing to learn quickly and in a real world context).  Furthermore, we offer a great working environment with a relaxed daily tone, with room to enjoy the company of your colleagues.

The ideal candidate should have completed at least his/her 1st year of law school (BA.jur or Cand.jur).  You should be fluent in English.  Our team of lawyers in Søborg is international.

You can start work soon. Working time is flexible, but you should be available, on average, between 10 – 20 hours per week (excluding exam periods / holidays).
