
As International Field Service Engineer you play an essential role in providing service to customers on location. You will help find the best possible solution and increase customer satisfaction. In the role of International Field Service Engineer, you carry out daily activities related to maintenance and troubleshooting of refrigeration installations and support installation and commissioning of Service Projects.
In this position you work on refrigeration installations for large multinationals with factories in Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. Besides the “land-based” installations, we work on refrigeration installations on board of ships. Our global service support for shipping focuses primarily on the fishing and cruise industries.
Tasks:
You carry out various inspections and maintenance work, both independently and in a team, with the associated activities in accordance with work instructions and procedures.
You resolve malfunctions in the installations, you inquire with the customer and the service coordinator for information about the installation, to determine the possible nature and cause of the malfunction(s).
You are responsible for correctly and digitally administering your work and orders for parts.
You work in accordance with GEA safety requirements, and you adhere to strict customer safety requirements and procedures.
You advise on upgrades, prevention of malfunctions and any measure to be taken to keep installations running.
You support the technical development of your colleagues.
Technical training at MBO level 3/4.
F-gases certified, able to use available electrical diagrams and P&ID’s.
Good understanding of refrigeration processes.
A flexible attitude towards working hours.
Reasonable knowledge of the English language verbally and in writing.
