
You will report to the Head of Division Controlling, Pharma & Food Applications and play a key role in strengthening project controlling excellence across the division.
Roles and responsibilities
Support the development and rollout of project controlling tools, governance standards, and best practices across the division
Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of project pre-calculation standards, benchmarks, and quality assurance checks during pre-sales and project approval phases
Establish and maintain project execution controlling, reporting structures, and rolling forecasting processes, while ensuring effective lessons-learned feedback loops
Partner with project managers throughout the project lifecycle, providing financial and commercial controlling support and guidance
Monitor project performance against financial and operational targets, including milestones, timelines, costs, resource utilization, and risk exposure
Prepare and facilitate monthly and quarterly project review meetings, driving transparency and action around financial performance, commercial outcomes, and project risks
Conduct project risk assessments and support internal risk reporting processes
Prepare monthly project controlling reports and oversee Percentage of Completion (PoC) accounting in accordance with IFRS requirement
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project profitability, forecasting accuracy, governance, and overall project performance
Successfully completed academic degree (e.g. Bachelor or Master in Business Administration, Finance, or comparable)
2 -3 years of relevant professional experience in finance / controlling within an international environment
Experience with IFRS and Percentage‑of‑Completion (PoC) accounting is an advantage
Solid understanding of ERP systems, ideally SAP R/3 and modules FI/CO, CO‑PA, BW
Experience with data management and analytics tools (e.g. Advanced Excel, Alteryx)
Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or Power BI
Exposure to automation solutions (e.g. Power Apps, Azure Dataverse) is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office, with a strong focus on Excel and PowerPoint
Fluent in English language; Dutch language is a plus
