Chief Financial Officer

Alexander Kocherscheidt joined the Executive Board as CFO in November 2025 (appointed until October 2028). All divisional CFOs report to him and he is also responsible for Corporate Finance, Corporate Accounting, Corporate Treasury, Corporate Tax, Customs & Foreign Trade, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, Mergers & Acquisitions, Information Security and the global IT organization.
Alexander Kocherscheidt began his career in investment banking at Sal. Oppenheim. In 2006, he joined ThyssenKrupp as Senior Project Manager M&A. In 2010, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer at ThyssenKrupp Elevator UK based in London. From 2013 to 2019, he served as CFO for ATLAS Elektronik.
In 2019, Alexander Kocherscheidt joined GEA Group as Senior Vice President Finance, where he oversaw group functions including Controlling, Planning and Risk Management, with the regional CFOs reporting to him. In 2024, he assumed the CFO role for GEA’s Liquid and Powder Technologies division.
Alexander Kocherscheidt was born in Mettmann, Germany, in December 1973. He completed a banking apprenticeship at Commerzbank AG, holds a degree in business law, and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the European School of Management and Technology in Berlin.
