GEA Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Planning and Material Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Frisco, TX. The Planning and Material Management Specialist will provide comprehensive supply chain support with a strong emphasis on inventory planning and management.

Responsibilities:
Support Supply Chain management in special projects.
Communicate to all stakeholders for supply chain issues.
Available as a backup to other SC actors
Participate in operations projects including maintaining/gathering Stakeholder input
Plan and ensure on-time fulfillment of orders, by scheduling, placing, and releasing orders for fulfillment for on-time material availability to fulfill demands
Plan, adjust, monitor inventories, and adjust replenishment parameters
Ensure on-time processing and delivery of purchased materials
Participate in master data maintenance
Responsible for pricing and lead time updates
Maintains and approves with parameters, returns to inventory
Maintain accurate order records
Communicate clearly, efficiently, and professionally with all internal and external stakeholders.
Approve and process supplier invoices as required, including communication and escalation needs.
Analyze data to meet Key Performance Indicators for planning and material management
Work closely with Procurement for sourcing of materials and alternate supply
Work closely with Logistics and Compliance on movement of goods, including import and export.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or related field plus 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain planning and materials management is highly preferred, or 7+ years' experience in Supply Chain in lieu of a degree.

SAP experience preferred
Proven proficiency in Excel for the purpose of mining, evaluating, and visualizing data for analysis
Advanced Negotiation / Conflict resolution skills
Work experience both in complex matrix and centralized organizations preferred
Experience working with many stakeholders in a diverse organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and ability to think strategically
Ability to network and build relationships
Takes ownership of the work, successes, and mistakes
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
