The Magnum is a low power pump that transfers efficiently thick manure from tied stall barn or from free stall barn up to your main storage through underground line. Different configurations of hopper inlet are offered to suit 1 or 2 barn cleaner installations and alley scraped by a skid-steer loader. The Magnum comes with different discharge choices depending on the installation and the type of bedding. The heavy hydraulic guillotine valves with sharp edges are specifically designed to handle thick manure containing straw and sawdust. A specific version is also offered to manage sand bedding. Take a look at this mainstay product that contributes to build the high quality level reputation of GEA.
Field proven for over 35 years to evacuate dairy manure.
During the siphoning cycle (up stroke) the pressure coming from the hydraulic power unit goes through the reversing valve which redirects it first to the discharge guillotine to close it then, to the intake guillotine to open it and finally, to the main piston to stroke upward and fill the evacuation chamber with manure.
During the evacuation cycle (down stroke) the hydraulic pressure closes the intake guillotine and opens the discharge guillotine. Once both guillotine cylinders have reached the end of their stroke, the pressure reaches the upper part of the main piston cylinder to evacuate manure.
The Electromix System includes a low power pump with hydraulically driven piston and the Electromix agitator. This system evacuates dairy manure that has been fully agitated and homogenized through underground line from tied stall or from free stall barns up to the main storage. The manure may contain bedding such as straw or sawdust of a consistency not exceeding 1½" (38 mm). The Electromix pump can be either wall mounted or floor mounted. Most of the time, the Electromix system requires a liquid return line from the main storage back to the reception pit in order to precondition the manure before transfer. It allows minimizing water addition, thus reducing the volume of storage. Have a look at the many possibilities that the Electromix System offers to definitely ease manure handling.
GEA manufactures different types of joints for quick assembly of steel or PVC 12 ¾" (324 mm) and 16" (406 mm) transfer lines. Many accessories such as elbows, safety valves, discharge pipes and flapper valves are offered to build underground evacuation lines of different types and sizes according to the installation. These accessories are used to maintain a high level of security and to preserve the equipment and steel evacuation line from premature wear. Learn more about some of these features below.
The Futuro is a low power pump with hydraulically driven piston. The large flapper valves inside the evacuation chamber are pressure actuated to evacuate dairy manure through underground line. The flapper valves design and the Futuro heavy-duty manufacturing allow handling manure containing limited amount of bedding such as sand, sawdust, wood shavings and chopped straw. The Futuro pump can be equipped with either a hopper inlet to collect manure from a cross gutter cleaner or from a skid-steer loader or it can be equipped with a suction pipe to be gravity fed.
