Versatile heating options

Direct and indirect UHT: The pilot plant can commonly be configured to run both direct (steam injection or infusion) and indirect (heat exchanger) UHT processes, providing you with the flexibility to test different methods.

Adjustable temperature and time: Precise control over temperature (typically between 135-150°C) and holding time (usually 2-6 seconds) allows you to mirror various industrial conditions.

Cost-effective development

Reduced costs: Pilot plant trials are far more cost-effective than full-scale runs, enabling economical testing of multiple formulations or processes.

Minimized risk: Identifying potential issues on a smaller scale helps to mitigate risks before scaling up to full production, reducing the risks of costly mistakes.
