Decanter centrifuge for testing and up-scaling
Robust decanter for up-scaling tests, available in ATEX design and protected against erosion and corrosion.
GEA pilotMaster gives you the freedom
Easy and simpleinfinite adjustment of the differential speed ranges I (1 – 15 UPM) and II (10 – 80 UPM). Ideal for changing products / product conditions.
Adjustment can be done within less than 5 minutes without using tools or changing pulleys.
The pilotMaster is the ideal machine to reliably scale up to the respective production capacity providing the highest flexibility in bowl speed from 1,000 rpm- 6,500 rpm, a differential speed range of 1 - 80 rpm without changing the pulley set and the same geometric configuration compared to the larger production machines.
GEA centrifuges are not off-the-shelf products. Rather, for optimum use, they must be selected and adjusted specifically for the process of the user. This is supported by the GEA separation test center.
Tests and analytics can be made at customer site or in the GEA separation test center. Please contact us for more information.
For clear clarification and dewatering in chemical and mineral processing applications. The clarified liquid is discharged under pressure by use of a centripetal pump. CIP-compatability of the decanter can be assured.
For clear clarification and dewatering in chemical and mineral processing applications. The clarified liquid is discharged freely into a liquid catcher and flows off under gravity. CIP-compatability of the decanter can be assured.
Even the best centrifuges cannot function optimally if they are not partnered with control systems of equal quality. For their range of separators and decanters, GEA offers standardized as well as tailor-made solutions for machine automation with many features to meet customer requirements.
Companies like GEA process and store large amounts of sensitive data. However, security incidents, from ransomware attacks to physical intrusions and industrial espionage, are ever-expanding. GEA’s effective protection of its business partners’ data – as well as its own proprietary information – is evolving into a competitive advantage. We spoke with Iskro Mollov, GEA’s Chief Information Security Officer, about what it takes to protect a global business in a volatile world.
Resource-efficient fashion has been a long-sought ambition amid the fashion industry’s considerable contributions to global carbon emissions. The need to close the loop by recycling textile fibers into virgin-like materials is higher than ever but seemed like a distant dream until now: Circ, GEA’s American customer and pioneer in the field of textile recycling, might be rewriting the future of the fashion industry.
Alternative proteins are promising – yet still expensive to produce. The usual response is that scaling up will solve this issue. But what if the solution was really about getting better, not just bigger? From more efficient, high-yield processes to upcycling waste heat, engineers are reshaping how we grow food.
