As an IT Security Consultant & Project Manager, you will plan, deliver, and govern IT/OT security projects and initiatives, while owning the effectiveness and maturity of core security services. With an equal focus on project delivery and security service ownership, you ensure that cybersecurity initiatives are delivered on time, adopted into operations, and measurably strengthen the organization’s security posture.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving security change from idea to implementation and into stable operations.
Furthermore, you will:
Lead end-to-end delivery of IT/OT security projects, including planning, execution, tracking, and closure.
Own a portfolio of security projects covering creation, enhancement and decommissioning of security systems, services and controls.
Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and budgets, while ensuring scope, quality, timelines, and cost targets are met.
Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, coordinating internal teams, vendors, and external partners and ensuring smooth transition into operations.
Act as service owner for assigned security domains, defining scope, KPIs, and roadmaps, and ensuring alignment with internal policies, standards (e.g. ISO 27001), and regulatory requirements (e.g. NIS2, GDPR).
You bring a structured, proactive approach and enjoy taking ownership of complex security initiatives from planning to measurable outcomes. With your collaborative mindset, you communicate clearly across stakeholders and thrive in an international setup where knowledge-sharing and accountability go hand in hand.
Additionally, we imagine you to:
Have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
Bring hands-on OT security experience, as well as IT security support/consulting.
Have led IT security projects; PRINCE2 is preferred (Scrum is desirable).
Know agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban); program/multi-project experience is a plus.
Understand ISO 27xxx, cloud concepts and Microsoft 365; relevant certs (e.g. CISM) are a plus.
