
As Global Category Manager Indirect Procurement, you will develop and implement mid- and long-term procurement category strategy for Legal Services globally.
Your tasks & responsibilities:
Execute procurement strategy: Supplier tendering, negotiations, supplier management, stakeholder management.
Collaboration with global procurement team in communicating and executing the agreed procurement strategies for legal services.
Implementation/ Review of Preferred Supplier Panels.
Identify and realize cost saving potential and control saving targets.
Ensure good Framework Agreement Coverage in Legal Spend.
Consolidation of suppliers/ Tail End Management.
Implementation of AI-based solutions together with the business stakeholders in legal department across the world boost efficiency at GEA.
Ensure proper use of processes and tools to be compliant.
Master’s degree in economics, business administration or comparable.
5+ years’ experience in Indirect Procurement, preferably within Legal Services.
Strong international contract, supplier and project management experience.
Proven ability to work in complex, global matrix organizations.
Experienced negotiator with strong analytical and strategic skills.
Familiar with procurement systems (e.g. Ariba, S2P).
Fluent in English (C1); German is an advantage.
Proactive, ownership‑driven and able to build trust with senior stakeholders.
