
The responsibilities consist of various tasks depending on the scope of the project. These include, among others:
Independently and collaboratively designing and specifying process installations and related components or equipment (using P&IDs with corresponding bills of materials and datasheets).
Developing and/or applying new techniques and technologies.
Testing new equipment.
Starting up new installations.
Training local operators.
Performing tests with pilot plants, internally and at prospective customers. Since separation through melt crystallization is a continuous process, short-term shift work may be required.
Reporting test results.
Supporting the sales department.
Preparing and supervising commissioning and start-up activities. This includes a limited number of (short) business trips per year
You are a motivated, independent, flexible, and communicative individual who enjoys a challenging and varied role.
You have completed a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or HAS education with several years of relevant experience.
Preferably, your experience was gained in the food or process industry, giving you knowledge of (chemical) process installations.
Interest in this market segment is essential.
A hands-on mentality is desired to carry out minor adjustments or maintenance on units and pilot plants.
Candidates with a different education or background are also welcome, provided the required level can be demonstrated through experience.
Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written, is required.
Understanding of and interest in other languages and cultures is a plus, given the international environment.
