
The Senior Project Manager – BL Dairy (Separation) is responsible for end-to-end execution of dairy separation plants and separation skids, incorporating GEA separators, valves, pumps, homogenizers, and associated automation. The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation knowledge along with the ability to interpret PFDs, P&IDs, mechanical layouts, piping isometrics, and electrical drawings. The role involves leading customer communication, supplier coordination, erection planning, commissioning, and internal stakeholder alignment.
Lead execution of full dairy separation plants, including separator systems and integrated process units.
Manage fabrication and delivery of separation skids (separator modules, valve clusters, pump units, homogenizer skids).
Define execution plans, schedules, resource needs, and commissioning milestones.
Ensure integration of separators with process lines, utilities, automation, and plant interfaces.
Interpret PFDs, P&IDs, separation process diagrams, equipment layouts, and skid drawings.
Review mechanical GA drawings, piping isometrics, and utility connections.
Understand electrical schematics, control panel drawings, wiring diagrams, MCC/VFD connections, loop drawings, and instrumentation layouts.
Act as the main customer interface for all dairy separation plant and skid execution activities.
Lead technical discussions, progress reviews, and scope clarifications.
Ensure customer expectations are met and proactively manage issues.
Manage suppliers responsible for separation skid fabrication and assembly.
Coordinate erection and commissioning agencies for plant installation.
Conduct FAT for separation skids and review technical compliance.
Monitor quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
Work with Engineering, Separation Application teams, SCM, Manufacturing, Quality, Automation, and Finance.
Ensure timely availability of drawings, BOMs, documentation, and material.
Oversee installation of separators, valves, pumps, homogenizers, and associated equipment.
Support automation integration and functional testing.
Conduct SAT, commissioning, performance testing, and ensure complete customer handover.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
5–8 years of experience in dairy separation or hygienic equipment execution.
Strong knowledge of separators, valves, pumps, homogenizers, and separation plant processes.
Ability to read PFDs, P&IDs, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation drawings.
SAP or ERP experience preferred.
Willingness to travel to customer sites.
