Factory Support: Proactively support production sites to elevate quality standards and optimize quality excellence.
BU Quality Support: Provide expert advice and guidance to the Business Unit Compression Technologies on process improvement and quality enhancement across all organizational areas.
Develop Guidelines & Procedures: Implement global quality guidelines and procedures in alignment with global QM and other Division quality functions to ensure consistency and best practices.
Prioritization & Team Support: Coordinate all initiatives aimed at enhancing the QM System and Quality Processes. Offer leadership and support to sites in the adoption of an aligned QHSE management system.
Manage Customer Returns: Oversee the end-to-end process for failure analysis related to customer returns, driving root cause identification and implementing corrective actions to mitigate costs associated with poor quality.
End-to-End Quality & Operational Excellence: Promote a comprehensive quality approach and operational excellence throughout the Business Units value chain, from lean manufacturing to category management and procurement.
Audits: Assist in preparing for external audits, re-certifications and corrective actions. Monitor compliance of certified sites with ISO standards and initiate corrective measures as necessary.
Reviews: Prepare Divisional Management Reviews and the content of the Divisions.
Educational Background & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Management, preferably within a production or project management environment.
Quality Management: Proficient in QM-Systems, international standards (ISO 9001), and the implementation of corporate Quality systems.
Certified Auditor: Qualified to audit Quality Management Systems and suppliers (ISO 19011, VDA 6.3).
Reporting: Demonstrated ability to prepare, collect and provide key Quality reports (based on KPIs) for different stakeholders.
Training Support Experience: Skilled in applying continuous improvement methods (e.g., PCDA, Lean/Kaizen Green Belt, or Six Sigma Green Belt) and proven capability in resolving complex issues.
Central Quality Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading intercultural Quality teams and fostering a high-performance quality culture. Excellent communication and change management skills.
Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication (C1) skills in German and English.
