Performance Improvement: Lead, advise on, support, measure, and continuously improve Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance across the Business Unit Compression Technologies.
Standards Development and Implementation: Define and further develop HSE guidelines and drive the implementation of GEAs`global HSE Standard in collaboration with corporate HSE and other Business functions.
Certification Management: Coordinate and support the implementation and maintenance of necessary certifications (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001) at all Compression Technologies locations.
Compliance & Auditing: Coordinate and execute required HSE inspections and audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Strategic Leadership: Develop the overarching HSE strategy and ensure alignment with the broader business objectives.
Central Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the team, promoting collaboration and ensuring the provision of expert support to all locations.
Digitalization: Coordinate and manage the roll-out and effective implementation of our global HSE software together with the corporate HSE team.
Background: Bachelor´s or Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g. CSP or German Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) are advantageous.
Extensive Leadership Experience: Proven track record of significant leadership experience and directing HSE functions within an international industrial environment.
HSE Regulations and Standards: Knowledge of relevant international and national HSE legislation, regulations, standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and best practices.
Reporting & Analysis Expertise: Proven ability to prepare, collect and provide key HSE reports, management review data and information for different stakeholders.
Training Support Experience: Experience in supporting the development and delivery of HSE training programs for employees across all Compression Technologies locations.
Strategic HSE Framework Development: Proven experience in developing and implementing the overarching HSE strategy and programs for a business unit, aligning with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
