Your responsibilities and tasks:

Customer Service Specialist II

We're looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist II to join our team. This role combines accounts payable management and leadership in our customer service department. The ideal candidate excels in accounts payable processes, team leadership, and providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage local accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve payment issues and maintain operations.
  • Foster positive vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Lead reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers and prepare financial reports.
  • Handle customer orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols.
  • Communicate with sales teams to confirm and update order details.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve order issues and maintain smooth processing.
  • Monitor inventory and stock levels for timely order fulfillment.
  • Provide regular updates on orders to clients and internal teams.
  • Conduct quality checks and resolve order discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

Your profile and qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable and customer service roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable and customer service principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and CRM tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with process improvements and knowledge of accounting standards.
