Your responsibilities and tasks:

Roles And Responsibilities

SUMMARY Using technical drawings, performs layout, marking, cutting, welding, and finishing of stainless-steel components such as tanks, frames, ducting and other geometric and structural shapes of various sizes.

  • Precision Welding: Marks, cuts, fits, clamps, and tack welds parts according to technical drawings, ensuring accurate alignment.
  • Versatile Welding Skills: Performs welding to specifications using various processes (MIG, TIG, GMAW) on diverse joint configurations and dissimilar material thicknesses.
  • Product Assembly: Creates weldments by assembling multiple components into finished products, specializing in stainless steel parts of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Safely operates hoisting, rigging equipment, MIG, TIG, GMAW machines, and plasma cutting torches.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensures high-quality welds, interpreting fabrication drawings, performing layout, cutting, and welding tasks with attention to workmanship standards.
  • Independent Work: Works independently based on written instructions and weld symbols, demonstrates good blueprint reading skills, and operates with minimal supervision

Qualifications:
•    High school diploma or equivalent required.
•    Classroom weld training or demonstrated welding experience; a degree or certificate from a technical welding school is preferred.
•    Strong blueprint reading skills.
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
