Your responsibilities and tasks:

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver proactive supervision based on cloud-based digital remote monitoring tools and predictive analytics software that optimize availability of customer’s connected assets

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions via remote communication channels. Provide remote technical assistance to field technicians and customers via preventive maintenance

  • Interpret remote monitoring data to generate reports, highlighting equipment health, trends, and maintenance recommendations

  • Coordinate remote and on-site activities to optimize maintenance schedules and resources. Collect feedback from on-site visits to check accuracy of prediction

  • Jointly work with data analysts to interpret data patterns and understand the underlying causes in the installations of the customer. Contribute to the enhancement of remote monitoring tools

  • Develop content structure for recommendation data base that makes best in class troubleshooting procedures available

  • Liaise with other teams within the organization, including sales and engineering, to exchange knowledge and ensure client requirements are met

  • Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on the proper use of digital tools for proactive maintenance

Your profile and qualifications:

Profile and Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, computer science or in a related field

  • 4+ years working experience in technical support, preventive maintenance, or a similar role; preferably involving industrial equipment.

  • Experience as a service engineer remotely servicing industrial customers for digital products in technical support or a related field

  • Industry Experience in process industries (e.g. food production) or in machine or plant engineering

  • Good analytical skills and familiarity with remote monitoring tools, predictive analytics, and IoT technologies

  • Self-starter and high motivation to implement new digital services

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for remote engagement with field teams and customers

  • Solid German and English skills

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to document technical support requests and solutions in a knowledge base

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and software development tools
