
The Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain team is responsible for implementing GEA's sustainability strategy within the procurement organization. This includes defining and implementing sustainability-related requirements for our suppliers, reducing greenhouse gas emissions along the (upstream) value chain, as well as implementing the requirements of the sustainability regulations (CS3D, CBAM, EUDR, and more).
The two key objectives for Sustainable Procurement from GEA’s corporate strategy "Mission30" are:
a) 100% of A- suppliers fulfill GEA’s sustainability criteria by 2030
b) An 27.5% reduction in Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 2030
We are looking for a student in Environmental Engineering, Corporate Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field to join us as a working student.
As a working student within Global Procurement, you will mainly support our team in maintaining MS Power BI dashboards. Within Sustainable Procurement, we act as the first point of contact for our global sustainability team in relation to:
· Supplier Sustainability Engagement Program
· Tracking the implementation of the sustainability criteria (COCSS, EcoVadis, SBTi targets, GHG reduction, and circularity)
· Supplier ESG assessments, evaluation, and management
· Human rights and environmental supplier risk management
· CO₂ emission reduction along the supply chain (Scope 3 emissions)
· Report on ongoing supply chain-related activities to internal and external stakeholders
Your roles and responsibilities:
Maintain and update existing Power BI dashboards
Enhance data visualizations
Clean, validate, and standardize data from multiple sources
Identify data issues and implement corrective actions
Support requests related to the tasks above
· Enrolled student in Environmental Engineering, Informatics, Data Analytics, Corporate Sustainability, Business Administration, or a similar field (Bachelor’s or master’s program)
· Knowledge of MS Power BI
· Structured working style
· Strong analytical skills
· Ability to work independently
· Fluent in English (German is a plus)
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
· Advantageous: Additional experience with MS Power BI
