
As International Commissioning Engineer, you will work independently, lead the team on site and start the commissioning activities. You work closely with the Project Manager. The department is managed from the headquarters in 's-Hertogenbosch and you will report to the Manager Supervision and Commissioning.
You are the first point of contact during the construction- and commissioning phase. Therefore, you’re responsible for managing the operational employees, including subcontractors. You coordinate and monitor safety, quality and planning and you steer where necessary.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Develop, describe, and advise on commissioning plans, procedures, and documentation in line with client requirements and local legislation.
Execute commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, I/O testing, and verifying functionality according to the FDS and control philosophy.
Read and interpret P&ID diagrams, electrical schematics, and ensure accurate and complete project/commissioning documentation.
Work with PLC and HMI/SCADA systems where required and provide technical advice to internal and external stakeholders.
Organize and deliver training and operating instructions for local operators while supporting sales and engineering with technical expertise.
Continuously improving safety, quality, and commissioning standards, and stay up‑to‑date with the latest technologies and best practices.
Bachelor degree in technical field or MBO‑4 level with relevant work experience, plus 5–10 years’ experience in (commissioning) industrial refrigeration.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration and heat‑pump systems, including proven NH₃ experience and understanding of PED and Machinery Directive requirements.
Electrical engineering qualification (NEN‑EN 50110 / NEN‑3140 Skilled Person) and possession of STEK/F‑Gas (or willingness to obtain).
VCA‑Basis (preferably VCA‑VOL) and flexible attitude toward occasional irregular working hours.
Good command of English, both spoken and written. Dutch is an advantage.
Skilled in safe operation, testing, and commissioning complex installations.
