Strategic Project Support: Act as Sparring Partner to Project Owners to support business case preparation by providing data-driven insights and financial assessments, identify challenges and allow meaningful financial tracking, provide your own assessment and expertise to Project Managers, assert yourself with Project Managers, confidently present and defend your ideas, and gain buy-in for your recommendations.
Strategic Project Controlling: Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management updates, providing insights on the project status to the executive level including financial target/actual comparisons to track performance and identify deviations.
Results Presentation: Preparation and structured presentation of findings for decision-makers, supporting informed strategic decisions.
Data Analysis: Independent extraction of relevant data from various sources, ensuring validation, preparation, consolidation, and thorough analysis.
Process & Tool Optimization: Conceptual development and continuous improvement of processes and tools to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accuracy.
Overall Support: Assisting in for example the planning process.
Education: Successfully completed studies in economics, ideally with a focus on finance or controlling.
Professional Experience: Relevant experience of minimum 3 years in supporting project managers, consulting and/or in the field of finance or controlling, preferably gained in an international industrial company.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability for analytical and conceptual thinking, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making.
Team Collaboration: Team player with excellent communication skills, fostering productive interactions in a dynamic work environment.
Language Skills: Excellent proficiency in both German and English, ensuring effective communication in an international setting.
