To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Business Developer New Food to join our team in Alcobendas as soon as possible.
Your Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Development: Expand market share through lead generation and increasing conversion rates, supported by CRM-based monitoring.
Market Analysis & Expansion: Successfully enter new and emerging markets.
Sales Activity Management: Prepare comprehensive performance reports with actionable insights for global sales meetings.
Implementation & Optimization of Sales Strategies: Continuously develop and refine existing processes.
Key Account & Partner Relationship Management: Build and strengthen relationships with key customers and partners.
Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams such as the Center of Competence, Application Management, Project Management, and Service.
Customer Consultation & Solution Development: Advise customers throughout the proposal process and develop innovative solutions tailored to specific requirements.
Master's degree (MSc or higher) in Biotechnology, Process Engineering, or a comparable field.
At least five years of experience in a similar role within the engineering sector; experience in the food industry is a plus.
Deep understanding of end-to-end (E2E) processes and market knowledge in cell-based fermentation and precision fermentation.
Strong strategic thinking combined with a structured working style.
Proven expertise in project management, communication, and negotiation.
Fluent English skills (spoken and written). A second language is a plus.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across different disciplines.
