Dental sticks for dogs

Dental sticks are healthy treats for dogs, developed with the main function of keeping teeth clean, breath fresh and gums strong and healthy.

It is therefore very important to create dental stick formats that are particularly pleasant, both in texture and shape.

The use of different raw materials allows the development of dental sticks with the desired consistency and chewability; the extrusion technology enables to transform the raw material into products with specific shapes, appropriate for the teeth of any dog.

Extrusion: GEA XTRU TWIN

The GEA xTru Twin series of extruders adapts perfectly to any requirement or need: barrel and screw configuration are tailor-made and designed based on process requirements. As a result, every need in terms of production capacity, type of product or footprint is catered for with a xTru Twin extruder. Furthermore, the xTru Twin reaches the kibbles capacity of 10000 kg/h, Dental sticks 800 kg/h and pillows 1000 kg/h.
