Peter Lauwers

Peter Lauwers joined the Executive Board in January 2026 (appointed until December 2028). He is responsible for the Pharma & Food Applications Division, which continues the portfolio previously managed under Food & Healthcare Technologies.

He joined GEA in 2020 as CEO of Farm Technologies and has led the Food & Healthcare Technologies division since 2024. Prior to joining GEA, Peter Lauwers spent more than 15 years in senior executive roles at Atlas Copco in Europe and Asia. He served as President of the Portable Air Division in Belgium and President of the Road Construction Division in Germany. In addition, he held positions as Vice President Marketing for the Construction Tools Division in Sweden and General Manager China for the Compressor Technique business.

Peter Lauwers was born in Koersel, Belgium, in 1970. He holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from KU Leuven.
