GEA Digital brings together a powerful network of digital capabilities to drive innovation, scalability, and customer-focused solutions. At its core, a central digital hub and four distributed digital units work seamlessly together, connected to a broader ecosystem of partners to accelerate impact across all divisions.
Digital Network
GEA Digital is built on a strong, collaborative network that connects the digital hub in Düsseldorf with digital units across Western Europe. This core structure is extended through close partnerships with companies, universities, startups, suppliers, and customers, enabling the exchange of knowledge, the leveraging of synergies, and the rapid development of innovative solutions.
Digital Units
The digital units operate within GEA’s divisions, developing tailored digital solutions that directly address customer needs. Working in agile, cross-functional teams, they combine deep expertise with broad digital know-how to deliver scalable products quickly and effectively, always with a strong focus on customer value and real-world impact.
Digital Hub
The digital hub forms the backbone of GEA Digital, focusing on building and scaling shared platforms and services across the organization. It drives key digital capabilities and enables the development of scalable, reusable solutions across divisions. By providing technologies, frameworks, and guidance, the hub empowers the digital units to innovate faster and operate at scale.
