Ihre Verantwortungsbereiche und Aufgaben:
As Strategic Buyer, you will be one of two strategic buyers leading the Mechanical category. This includes responsibility for the category strategy and the supplier development within the mechanical category for the Søborg site. Working closely with local stakeholders, global category management, and suppliers, you will drive strategic initiatives that strengthen competitiveness and supply security.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Managing supplier relationships and acting as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned suppliers.
- Driving supplier development initiatives, innovation programs, and continuous improvement activities.
- Running RFx processes, negotiations, and supplier selection activities in alignment with business and category strategies.
- Monitoring supplier performance across quality, delivery, capacity, sustainability, and commercial performance.
- Leading supplier review meetings and maintaining supplier development roadmaps.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across engineering, operations, supply chain, and the global procurement organization.
Ihr Profil und Ihre Qualifikationen:
As a skilled negotiator and problem-solver, you are ready to drive procurement value and shape new ways of working. You know how to translate data into insights that support better decisions and turn ideas into concrete results. Navigating complex organisations with confidence, you are ready to drive procurement value in a dynamic and international environment.
To succeed in this role, you bring both strategic procurement expertise and strong commercial knowledge. In addition, we imagine that you have:
- 5+ years of experience with category management, sourcing, supplier management and contract negotiation.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience handling complex commercial negotiations.
- Solid analytical skills and experience with cost analysis and market analysis.
- Experience working in complex, international organizations.
- Thrive in a role where independence, persistence and resilience are key to creating a lasting impact.
As a person, you are a strong relationship builder who creates trust with stakeholders and suppliers. Your strategic, analytical, and business-oriented approach allows you to be comfortable in navigating change and driving improvements in a dynamic environment.
