
Functional & Module Ownership
Act as the primary functional counterpart for selected Workday and ServiceNow areas.
Run demos on new features, evaluate new license opportunities, and support roadmap discussions.
Assess change requests, clarify requirements with stakeholders, and translate them into scalable configuration approaches.
System Configuration & Maintenance
Configure across our active Workday modules and support configuration changes in ServiceNow.
Document configuration in a structured, reusable, and compliant way.
Ensure consistency across modules, especially where cross‑module or cross‑platform logic is involved.
Workday Releases & Feature Adoption
Analyze Workday releases and identify relevant impacts across active modules.
Validate new features, prepare test scenarios, and enable stakeholders for upcoming changes.
Support decision‑making around adoption, deprecations, and required adjustments.
Cross‑Module & Broader System Configurations
Manage configurations that span multiple Workday modules (shared business processes, rules, event-driven logic).
Support structural changes, reorganizations, and broader system updates across Workday and ServiceNow.
Project‑Driven Configuration Work
Translate project requirements into configuration changes across multiple functional areas.
Participate in project testing, cutover validation, and readiness activities.
Ensure that configuration decisions align with architectural guidelines and system design principles.
Stakeholder Management & Enablement
Collaborate closely with Process Owners, People Services teams, HR Tech teams, and other internal/external partners.
Prepare stakeholders for testing, release changes, and new features.
Contribute to harmonization and standardization across regions and teams.
Required
Several years of hands‑on Workday configuration experience in an international environment.
Experience with reporting, cross‑module logic, or complex business process configuration in Workday.
Experience in digital process design, including translating business needs into scalable, automated workflows.
Broad functional understanding across multiple Workday modules.
Experience analyzing releases, validating impacts, and supporting feature adoption.
Familiarity with ServiceNow HRSD module and configuration or willingness to learn.
Strong skills in requirement refinement, stakeholder alignment, and solution design.
Analytical, structured, and solution‑oriented working style.
Confident and clear communicator across stakeholder levels.
Fluent in English.
Preferred
Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
Familiarity with structured testing and project work.
SQL knowledge or willingness to learn.
German language skills.
Degree in Business Administration, HRIS, Information Systems, HR, Computer Science, or a related field.
