
Your tasks
Develop and maintain structured test strategies, test plans, and test cases for software modules, interfaces, and complete systems.
Design and implement automated test environments and scripts for API, UI, integration, and regression testing.
Execute functional and non-functional test activities, ensuring comprehensive system validation prior to release.
Analyse test failures, debug software issues using logs, traces, debuggers, and monitoring tools, and support corrective actions.
Define test coverage models, acceptance criteria, and quality metrics aligned with development and release processes.
Create and maintain detailed test documentation including test plans, reports, SOPs, and validation protocols, ensuring full traceability.
Collaborate closely with development, QA, firmware, and hardware teams to ensure integrated and efficient test workflows.
Maintain and continuously enhance the test infrastructure, including test environments, automation frameworks, and tools.
Analyse test results, derive KPIs, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and development processes.
Participate in design and code reviews with a focus on improving testability, maintainability, and software quality.
Ensure proper configuration management and traceability of all test artifacts and validation activities.
Support troubleshooting and provide quality-related input during development and post-release phases.
Your profile
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field.
Proven experience in software testing, validation methodologies, and automated test development.
Proficiency with test and debugging tools such as Postman, Selenium, Robot Framework, JUnit, and log analysis utilities.
Experience in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Java, LabVIEW, or similar frameworks.
Knowledge of software quality standards, structured test methodologies (e.g., ISTQB), CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
Basic understanding of embedded systems, firmware interaction, and communication protocols such as CAN, UART, REST, and MQTT are advantageous.
Experience in creating structured test documentation and working with test management and configuration control systems.
Familiarity with relevant regulatory and quality standards (e.g., ISO standards, CE/EMC processes).
Strong analytical thinking, structured working approach, and problem-solving capability.
Self-driven and proactive mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Good written and spoken English skills.
Willingness to travel for business purposes, including international assignments when required.
Comfortable working in Windows and Linux environments; proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP or PLM systems is considered a plus.
