Dairy & Beverage Technical Sales

Separation & Flow Technologies encompass process engineering components and machines, including separators, decanters, homogenizers, valves and pumps. These technologies are at the heart of many production processes.

For our Separation & Flow Technologies Division in Granollers we are looking for a Dairy (milk, cheese, vegetable drinks) & Beverage (beer, juice, wine, coffee) Technical Sales.

Tasks:

• Meet order intake and sales annual expectations connected with Dairy and Beverage applications.

• Ensure all sales orders are negotiated with acceptable gross margin contribution according to defined targets.

• Keep existing customers and increase nowadays GEA Westfalia Separator market share with new customers for Dairy and Beverage applications.

• Support Head of Sales to define sales strategy for Iberia Beverage and Dairy New Machine market.

• Support Head of Marketing to define marketing strategy for Iberia Beverage and Dairy New Machine market.

• Manage, control and report whole offer project management process: contact customer, definition of scope with customers & Business Line, commercial discussions and support project execution.

• Prospect and cooperate with external partners

• Manage customer relationships.

• Support product development projects.

• Support Service Sales Business.

• Support Financial Department when customers are not up to date on payments.

• University Degree in Engineering

• Min 3 years’ relevant experience in similar functions

• Know-how of state-of-the-art sales process, organization methods and tools (e.g. ordering, pricing, CRM)  

• Proven skills in negotiation & contracting with customers

• Understanding of corporate finance

• English (proficient)

• Deep understanding of business with developed focus on customer needs and fulfilment of customer expectations

• Open-minded and solution oriented, strong problem-solving skills

• Team player, good networker and negotiator 

• Very good communication skills, strong salesperson

• Strong customer orientation - Ability to engage with customers at different level

• Availability to travel
