Join our Heating Refrigeration Technologies Team in Colombia and support us as a Refrigeration Sales Engineer.
The Compression technologies Sales Engineer manages the assigned resources meet customers’ needs within the context of promoting sales of all assigned GEA Refrigeration New Machines products. S/he reports to the compression sales manager, responsible for new machines sales within the assigned product group or application cluster in the country. This includes the revenue responsibility for €1, mio. Their main goal is to detail and implement the country sales strategy, perform sales planning / forecasting, and develop product portfolio (in close cooperation with the Division) and drive revenues through new machines sales in the assigned cluster. They will focus on new machines delivery and meeting customer needs and promoting the "GEA" vision - a coordinated approach to sales across the entire organization.

- Develop the new machines sales strategy and ensure a GEA approach to customers within the country (cooperation with Head of Sales).
- Identifying opportunities for new machines sales in Refrigeration Industry.
- Actively managing key customer accounts in Refrigeration Industry.
- Operate in partnership with service sales engineers, service technicians and other team members to identify “up-sell” and “cross-sell” opportunities to maximize revenue and improve overall customer experience.
- Manage individual day to day activities with possible responsibility for multiple Refrigeration business application to ensure consistent approach and optimized performance.
- Coordinate development of new machines sales strategy within country / cluster
- Lead new machines sales activities within defined Refrigeration BU, allocate resources and prioritize initiatives
- In collaboration with Compression technologies Sales Manager, agree on annual new machine sales budget.
- Coordinate new machines sales planning, forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure employee engagement by effectively communicating new machines sales strategy and vision
- Work together with new service sales engineers and service technicians to ensure coordinated sales approach.
お客様のプロフィールと資格 :
- University degree in one of the main Engineering fields
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in sales within the industrial refrigeration sector - We are specifically looking for candidates with a background in industrial refrigeration applications at large scale and compression technologies
- Strong capital equipment or service sales experience in Refrigeration Business.
- Familiarity with GEA service offerings and local market requirements of different customer groups.
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal in english.
- Capable of implementing strategic new machines sales plan.
- Availability to travel at least 50% of the time per month.
