The upcoming interface from GEA and UNIFORM-Agri will provide compatibility of both herd management systems. (image: GEA)
“This interface is an important step for dairy farms that already use UNIFORM-Agri as their main herd management system and want to integrate GEA equipment into it. And all this without having to compromise on the advantages and future developments of our GEA DairyNet system”, explains Holger Siegwarth, Vice President Digital Solutions and Services at GEA Farm Technologies. “Modern dairy farmers, who are facing increasing administrative work, will hugely benefit from this cooperation as it will avoid double or triple data entry on the farm”, adds UNIFORM-Agri Managing Director Harm-Jan van der Beek.
The systems from both global players use the most modern technique for real time data exchange and provides a huge number of national interfaces while keeping up high user-friendliness. The interface will allow dairy farmers to integrate different equipment, their dealers as well as most of the worldwide milk-recording organizations. The roll-out will start in autumn this year in Austria, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
