Ratings achieved by GEA
For ensuring maximum transparency in the markets, GEA – inter alia – participates in the annual EcoVadis CSR performance monitoring scheme. EcoVadis represents the technical platform used for the audit program of the TfS initiative (“Together for Sustainability"). In 2017, GEA improved its EcoVadis CSR rating to “Silver“, scoring 52 points (2016: “Bronze“ with 43 points).
As in previous years, GEA took part in the 2017 survey conducted within the framework of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). CDP is an independent, not-for-profit organization that currently represents more than 800 institutional investors. Each year, it gathers information on the specific greenhouse gas emissions of major listed corporations and their strategies to combat climate change.
For more than 40 years, MSCI's indices and analytics have helped leading global investors build and manage better portfolios. MSCI assesses companies according to the environmental, social and governance risks they face. GEA is listed in the sustainability indices of the MSCI.
