In more than 20 inspiring webinars, interactive workshops and informative live presentations, GEA experts will discuss topics such as smart mobility, circular economy and what it takes to accelerate vaccine production. The focus will be on today's innovations and how GEA is helping to change processes to improve and facilitate "tomorrow."
From May 31, when the Pulse platform goes live, through June 30, visitors will be able to arrange virtual meetings, participate in live chats and get vital information and input from GEA experts, researchers and developers and, of course, practitioners. More than 40 top speakers providing insights, updates and the latest news will be on hand.
Throughout the event, GEA's pharmaceutical and chemical experts will showcase a number of spectacular new products and highlight exciting developments in virtual reality technology that enhance the customer experience. With the company having recently appointed a new CSO for Sustainability, Nadine Sterley, the expert will talk about the company's environmental ambitions, both in terms of internal goals and customer benefits, and why sustainability is key for GEA.
In the biopharmaceutical industry, for instance, the need to fast-track the safe and effective production of vaccines is paramount. As such GEA will address issues such as freeze-drying and improving blood plasma fractionation to obtain better yields. At the same time, the operational benefits of the GEA Tablet Coater, the new GEA Pharma Separator lines “aseptic” and “pure”, the ConsiGma® 4.0 continuous manufacturing platform and the first single-use GEA Pharma Separator kytero® will also be showcased.
Designed for mammalian cell and E. coli applications, the single use disk stack GEA Separator kytero® utilizes proven GEA technology to ensure high yields, excellent separation performance and gentle product treatment. Taking an end-to-end approach to operational excellence and improving the customer experience, cutting-edge containment solutions and a new type of API valve will also be presented.
GEA is committed to helping its customers – in a wide range of global markets and applications – to design and implement more efficient processes with a lower carbon footprint. By improving resource efficiency and circularity, providing more flexible and readily available plant through digitalization, GEA is taking a lifecycle approach to turning fossil fuel-based industries into more sustainable ones.
Interested visitors will be able to learn more about the mechanical and thermal processes transforming the routes from fossil fuel to renewables driven processes at webinars about bio-based chemicals, nanocellulose or cellulose-based biorefineries.
GEA is well known for being a pioneer in advanced process design and offers a comprehensive array of energy optimized processes and energy recovery solutions. Join the conversation and discover more about the company’s hybrid purification systems for organic chemicals, carbon dioxide reduction and carbon capture at emission control applications.
GEA technologies support both resource efficiency and the low carbon economy, which will be explained during webinars on lithium recovery and processing and the recovery of valuable assets in zero liquid discharge processes. Explosion-proof/corrosion-resistant decanters and jet vacuum pumps for highly corrosive materials will also be on display. Plus, making its debut appearance will be the new pilotMaster decanter centrifuge. By pioneering process development and scale-up, GEA is committed to helping its customers implement continuous production and operational excellence in a reliable and timely manner.
