On 12th and 13th November, GEA organized its Packaging Days at Biedenkopf-Wallau to present solutions for environmentally friendly packaging and production of vegan products.

For two days GEA internal and external speakers presented a technology update about thermoforming, slicing and packaging lines, cutter technology and vertical packaging, as well as news from the market related to film saving and recycling possibilities.
On the practical side, GEA experts guided live demos of GEA technologies, including a slicing and packaging line with a DualSlicer and a PowerPak PLUS, a SmartPacker, a CutMaster and a PowerPak with FoodTray application.

Interesting lecturers about research projects for new materials, as well as updates on the new packaging law were the perfect inputs for starting inspiring conversations within joiners.
A total of 220 customers, business partners and GEA colleagues from all over the world attended one of the two days at Biedenkopf-Wallau, in German or in English language.
