Corporate responsibility at GEA

Corporate Responsibility

Resource scarcity, rising energy prices, taking an active role in the digital transformation and improving productivity: these are just a few of the demands on GEA as a technology group. These challenges not only drive, but also inspire us in our work. After all, it’s not only our customers, but society as a whole which is confronted with them.

GEA is helping customers think differently about packaging; save resources; manufacture more sustainably; produce food that is safer and lasts longer; develop medicines that are available globally; become more efficient; streamline their processes and keep their plants up and running longer. In a nutshell: be future-ready.– Stefan Klebert, CEO, GEA

Our approach

We accompany our customers on their journey to become more sustainable by sharing our process expertise and offering them efficient technologies and solutions. At GEA, we refer to this as Sustainable Value Creation.

GEA sets and strives to achieve concrete short- and long-term goals related to quality, occupational health and safety and environmental protection. Our performance against these goals is updated annually.

Our corporate responsibility activities are divided into four key fields: Efficient productsBusiness and governanceEmployees and community and the Environment.

Our Sustainability Report is prepared in accordance to the international standards set by the GRI Core option. Readers will find detailed information about our areas of activity and programs relating to sustainability. It is available separately and is likewise included in GEA’s Annual Report.
