Düsseldorf (Germany), November 02, 2015 - With effect from November 1, 2015, GEA has appointed Tom
Eriksson as the new Country Managing Director for Sweden and Finland.
Tom Eriksson has 25 years of experience in the engineering industry, mainly with the Wärtsilä Group, where he has held various management positions and was recently appointed as General Sales Manager for the Marine Solutions business. Wärtsilä Group is a global leader in power solutions for the marine and energy markets and a key customer of GEA in these countries. Finnish national Tom Eriksson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (Finland).

GEA has implemented a new organizational structure in order to enhance closeness to customers, and is now accordingly reorganizing its sales channels. All sales and service activities in Sweden and Finland have been organized with one common organization serving as the main point of contact for customers and offering the entire range of GEA products and services for each life cycle stage. Located in Gothenburg (Sweden) and Helsinki (Finland), around 30 highly competent GEA employees service the customer in their local languages with the clear ambition to grow and further develop GEA’s business in the two countries.
