VARINLINE® Sight Glass TXIA

Sight glasses inserted into the VARINLINE® access unit or into a housing connection flange (for vessels and tanks) are used for visual monitoring of the product. In case of optically dense products, illumination with adjustable brightness is recommended.

VARINLINE® sight glasses can be adapted to VARINLINE® housings or tank connections and enables a visual check of the processed medium.

The glass lock made of borosilicate can be used at pressure ranges between -1 and 25 bar, depending on the size of the glass. Nevertheless, the maximum pressure rating of the surrounding equipment needs to be considered.

To also enable proper visual checks of dull liquids, the installation of an additional illumination is recommended. The long-lasting LED illumination incorporates 20 LEDs and can be delivered with a connected cable with the length of 2 or 25m.

By using a feeler, the 2 Watt illumination is activated. For the installation within explosion proof areas an ATEX illumination without a feeler is available.
