The Corporate Physical Security Expert is responsible for the physical security concepts of GEA’s sites. He or she is responsible for defining and implementing uniform site security standards at all GEA locations, incl. site security concepts, perimeter security, security areas, steering of guards, video surveillance, key management, visitor management, alarm concepts and physical security incident management processes.

Ihre Verantwortungsbereiche und Aufgaben:

  • Accountable for the functioning infrastructure that meets GEA Group physical security requirements regarding information security, data protection and official regulations
  • Accountable for the concepts regarding site security, access control processes and systems, video surveillance (CCTV), the security of building supply facilities, e.g. building management systems and visitor management
  • Responsible for GEA-wide implementing and monitoring of the information security requirements regarding physical security (e. g. clean des and clear screen, working in secure areas, ban of photography)
  • Responsible for performing risks analysis regarding physical and environmental security
  • Responsible for the overview of all current and planned infrastructure projects in the GEA Group in regards of security
  • Responsible for the conceptual design for dealing with customers, external service providers (e. g. security guards) and suppliers with the aim of unifying and standardizing processes
  • Responsible for monitoring the operational coordination of the site managers in infrastructure projects and their service provider management in project and operation
  • Responsible for self-initiated audits and weak-point analyses that affect physical security
  • Responsible for the continuous improvement and development of physical security
  • Responsible for the physical security of GEA’s data centers
  • Implements findings from audits together with the LISOs and facility management
  • Implementation of quality assurance measures, examination of processes and procedures and identification of potential for improvement
  • Responsible for handling of physical security incidents together with the Security Incident Management Exerts and at site level together with the LISOs and for the correct and timely documentation, root cause analysis and the subsequent definition of preventive measures and risk analyses
  • Responsible for the introduction and further development of the performance measurement system, based on the regular reports of the site managers
  • Functionally reports to the CISO

Ihr Profil und Ihre Qualifikationen:

  • Bachler or master’s degree in security Management / Information technology / Computer Science / Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline
  • Information security Certifications advantageous (CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CISM: Certified Information Security Manager, ISMS Lead Implementor, ISMS Lead Auditor, additional in accreditation of a certification body)
  • 5+ years of experience related to Security Management
  • Sound knowledge in the field of risk assessment and design of security concepts
  • Know-how in management-systems, audits, dealing with audit-findings
  • Experience in project work and project management
  • Experience in system and network design
  • Knowing security standards such as ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA and SOX
  • Practical experience in Information security and knowledge of national and international security standards
  • Know-how in DIN EN50600 and ISO22237
  • Experience in infrastructure management
  • Experience in dealing with service providers, ideally in this context as Demand Manager
  • Experience in multivendor Management and dealing with multiple suppliers
  • Optionally experience in dealing with on-premise, cloud and hybrid infrastructures
  • Strong interpersonal skills in communication and collaboration
  • Strong communication skills, in English, local language is a plus
  • Strong analytical ability, business acumen, problem solving skills
  • High assertiveness, high flexibility and resilience
  • Capabilities, in financial & Budget ownership
