MOBILE MINOR® Spray Dryer with highly efficient powder separation

Offering an improved design but maintaining the same compact footprint, the GEA MOBILE MINOR MM-100 spray dryer, equipped with the new and highly efficient cyclone CEE (Cyclone Extra Efficiency), is the newest addition to the MOBILE MINOR® range. 

Installed in almost 2400 plants worldwide, the cross-application MOBILE MINOR® spray dryer is robust, reliable and versatile. It is easy to use, clean and move and an ideal basis for up-scaling a new process

  • Process gas flow up to 100 kg/h at 200 °C for increased capacity.
  • Accurate gas disperser for minimizing powder deposits.
  • High capacity HEPA filters for baby food or hazardous chemical applications available.
  • Powder collection glasses in sizes from 250–3500 mL can be supplied as standard.

GEA BisCat ceramic catalyst filter

GEA has developed high-temperature filters with ceramic elements that enable the removal of NOx, dioxins, mercury and VOC through an integrated catalyst matrix. 

The GEA BisCat filter system combines the 3 process stages of dedusting, separation of acid components and reduction of total hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides (NOx) in one unit. Applications include the cement and glass industries, incinerators, refineries and roasters.

  • BisCat ceramic catalyst filters are chemically inert and corrosion-resistant. 
  • Only one single system is required instead of three.
  • Particle separation takes place with the aid of filter elements made of mineral fibers. 
  • Candles are well proven and very flexible to use even regarding  modifications of operating parameters, especially at high gas temperatures. 
  • No cooling of flue gases is required, and no thermal heat energy is wasted. 
  • Filter elements are cleaned from separated dust online during operation by means of separate, compressed air jet pulses. 
  • The single or multi-sectional housings developed by GEA allow a maximum filter length of 6 m.

VESTA® tank bottom valves are used to shut off fluid media in tanks. These components are designed to be fitted to the lowest point of the bottom to shut off the media flush with the tank bottom without any kind of sump. 

The pocket free design provides complete draining of the tank and optimal CIP/SIP cleaning. Thanks to the robust design of the body, and/or the body connection flange, the valve can be welded into place without any distortion.
