En los últimos años, los elevados precios de la energía y la necesidad de reducir las emisiones de CO2 han aumentado la importancia de las aplicaciones de recuperación energética en todos los procesos industriales. El precio de la energía ha aumentado considerablemente en los últimos años y esto puede tener consecuencias económicas para los grandes consumidores energéticos. La transferencia de gases de proceso calientes a la chimenea de la planta conlleva la pérdida de una valiosa cantidad de energía térmica que podría recuperarse y/o convertirse fácilmente en energía eléctrica. El calor residual de la industria es un recurso potencial escasamente aprovechado.

Our customers can improve their efficiency by recovering waste heat not only from the production process, but also from the hot process gas in many cases released to the atmosphere unutilized. The recovered energy directly reduces the dependence on fossil fuels and in addition, the energy recovery plant becomes a valuable medium termed strategic asset.

What exactly is necessary to recover energy and to decrease emissions has to be carefully studied for every single industrial plant, also taking into account the possible impact of energy recovery on the process of an existing gas cleaning section or, in case of new plant, their complete integration.
