Circulation Fans for Barn Ventilation

GEA offers a range of powerful and quiet fans in a variety of different designs to help you achieve a healthy stall climate and high yield.

One of the key factors for producing a high milk yield are the living conditions within the stall: Cow comfort plays a key role in producing high-quality milk. So maintaining a stable stall climate with suitable curtains and ventilation openings is absolutely essential. And to distribute fresh air around the stall, you need powerful fans. As a Total Solutions provider, GEA offers a range of different fans for your stalls that can be used flexibly and complement each other perfectly.

You can choose from:

  • Mobile fans on rollers
  • Circulating and fixed fans
  • Fans for installing on flat and sloped ceilings

An overview of the advantages of our fans:

  • The basis of a comfortable stall climate
  • They provide optimum distribution of air and a fresh air supply
  • Increased comfort for your animals
  • Different designs to suit the individual conditions on your premises

A flexible approach to creating the perfect stall climate: mobile fans from GEA

You can use a mobile fan to regulate the climate of your stalls flexibly.

  • The fan consists of a large, 52 inch long blade and a sturdy frame with durable rollers.
  • These help you to move the fan to any position within the stall and adjust the stall climate to suit your needs.
  • The belt gear and six blades make this mobile fan incredibly powerful.
  • However, it can ventilate even large stalls without increasing the noise level unnecessarily as it runs very quietly.
  • The welded construction not only ensures that the fan will last, but also keeps it steady during transport.

For permanent installation in the stall: circulating and fixed fans in a variety of sizes and designs

If you want to install your fan permanently, we recommend our range designed specifically for mounting on the ceiling or on stanchions within the stall. We are proud to present three different solutions that can be mounted directly above the feed station or in the stall:

  • Circulation fan: This fan circulates and distributes fresh air across the entire area. You can ventilate multiple feed stations with a single device. The orifice ring holder distributes the air around the stall, whilst using a minimum of energy.
  • The new EvolutionXC™ Fans from GEA give dairies a variety of ventilation choices for their barns. EvolutionXC Fans are available in two model sizes. The EvolutionXC 52” model has been tested and certified for energy efficiency and may qualify for energy rebate programs.

Fans for fixed installation on flat and sloped ceilings

Fans mounted on the ceiling provide optimum ventilation within the stall. They draw fresh air in from outside and release it evenly and permanently into the inside of the stall. They are very unobtrusive, quiet and provide an excellent degree of ventilation. As a specialist and systems provider of technical equipment for agricultural companies, GEA offers a range of models for installing on flat and sloped ceilings:

  • Fan for sloped ceilings: The fan for sloped ceilings has been designed especially for use in buildings with gable roofs. It is made from durable, galvanized stainless steel in order to withstand constant contact with outside air. It is driven by electric motors. The aluminium flaps only open when the fan is in use. This means that rain cannot penetrate through the fan opening.
  • NCF fan: The NCF fan is a simple solution for roofs. It is easy to mount and is made from durable, weatherproof, galvanized steel. Its innovative V belt drive makes it both energy-efficient and quiet.
  • Standard fan: The standard fan from GEA is available in sizes from 20 to 90 cm. So it can be used in buildings of any size. GEA believes that solid construction is vital, even on our standard fan. So we have used durable bars to support the motor and strong nylon connectors for the aluminium flaps.
