UVA Overflow Valves

Overflow valves are dependent on back pressure; their components have not been tested individually. The rising stem is sealed by two chloroprene O-ring seals. 
 Overflow valves are suitable for installation as:

  • safety devices for controlling the high pressure
 side of compressors,

  • safety devices in combination with two safety
 pressure control valves whose components have been tested, 

  • safety device for protection of closed pipe systems.

UVR/UVRK Overflow Valves

UVR overflow stop valves are a mechanical regulating system. The adjustable pressure range is 2 to 8 bar. The stem is used to close the valve. The valve is fitted with a PTFE back seal. This allows the stem sealing system (screw bushing) to be changed during operation. The damping system prevents “flattering” at low flow rates. The valve is back pressure dependent. overflow valves are suitable for installation as relief valves in the refrigerant cycles of industrial refrigerating plants. Overflow valves are safety devices for protecting the refrigerating plant or its components from excess pressure (see also DIN 8975 part 7). They comply with the technical regulations of the German Technical Control Board (TÜV).

Constant Pressure Valves, type RVD, are regulating devices for ensuring sufficient minimum differential pressure.

Constant pressure valves are automatically operated regulating devices (constant pressure function) within the oil management system of screw compressor packages, ensuring sufficient minimum differential pressure (e.g. 3 bar, 4 bar etc.) or oil injection pressure during the start-up phase and running of the screw compressor.

The constant pressure valve is fitted with a back-pressure
 compensation sealing element. The valve is opened by the pressure of the operating medium, depending on the set pressure (spring inside) of the valve. The
 set pressure is determined by the customer and adjusted by the manufacturer; constant pressure valves are maintenance-free. Any defects that occur in the functional performance of the valves can be repaired.

Gas-powered valves, type GPV, for draining the oil collecting tank in the oil return circuit.

Gas-powered valves are designed for installation in the oil return circuits of refrigeration systems. The valve is constantly kept open by a compressing spring. It is locked by the pressure exerted by hot gas which is inserted by a connector on the cover. When the GPV is closed the hot gas presses the oil out of the oil collecting tank to drain it. Then the oil flows back to the compressor.
