KV Ball Valve with a perforated ball as a locking unit.

Ball valves can be supplied either with a reduced or full clearance by default, allowing for quick opening or closing by adjusting a lever at a 90° angle. As an alternative, ball valves can be equipped with pneumatic or electric activation as well as a cover extension.

  • Working media: glycol-based cold brine refrigerant EN 378 p. 1, e.g. NH3, R22, R134a and blends with refrigerator oil, neutral, gas and liquid media, glycol-based cold brine 

Standard ball valves have a reduced bore. 

The ball is fitted with a vent hole and closes tight only in the flow direction.

AK Butterfly Valve with a rotatable disc as locking unit.

Shut-off valves are suitable for installation in the refrigerant cycles of industrial refrigeration systems. 
Butterfly valves are valves with a disc as locking unit that is rotatable within the medium flow. They allow for quick opening or closing by moving a lever at a 90° angle. Alternatively, butterfly valves can be supplied with pneumatic or electric activation.
