GEA has always made its mark by developing efficient and long lasting free stall manure cleaner systems. Whatever your barn condition is we have the solution to meet your highest expectations.
The versatility of the Combiscraper and its modular features allow this scraper to fit most dairy farm installations.
A Flush System is an efficient method for cleaning alleys and holding area of a dairy farm. It is automated, low maintenance, and requires very little labor. The Flush valves are optimally designed and are commonly fed by the 8" Flush Pump (vertical or on pontoon) – a low RPM pump offering a high flow rate of over 3,000 gpm.
Free Stall Alley Cleaner with Cable
A free stall cleaner system with cable can be used to clean two, three or four alleys. The same drive unit controls all the scrapers. While one scraper is cleaning one alley, the other is backing up. The 16°, the V-Shape and the Straight scrapers are all available with the cable system. The main advantage of a cable system is the choice of several scraper configurations that allow cleaning of very long manure alleys.
Hydraulic Free Stall Alley Cleaner
The Hydraulic Free Stall Cleaner system is well suited to clean one alley, multiple alleys of different length or uneven number of alleys using a single power unit. It is the perfect option for small barns that do not use sand bedding and where the length of the alleys does not exceed 200 feet (61 m) or 250 feet (76 m) when the cross gutter is in the middle of the barn.
Manure Scraper Robot SRone and SRone+
SRone and SRone+ is a scraper robot designed specially to clean slatted floors. It pushes and scrapes tirelessly, easily traversing long passageways and connecting walkways besides getting into corners and edges to ensure clean, slurry-free surfaces. As a result infection pressure is reduced, hoof diseases and mastitis are guarded against and animal health is consequently promoted.
Clean and dry slats contribute to a better hygiene and reduction of the claw problems. It is hard to imagine that many dairy farms wouldn't have a slat scraper. Removing the manure from the slats has become more difficult, because the manure is much drier due to change of feed and well-ventilated Barns. We offer a broad range of manure scrapers.
Scraper - Deep Groove System
The deep Groove Scraper has been designed for alleys with a groove ranging from 4’’ (102 mm) to 10’’ (254 mm) deep. When using this scraper, the alley must be sloped towards the center. This allows the liquid to naturally drain out of the manure. The integrated toggling flat bar pushes solids contained into the groove towards the cross gutter.
Scraper - Under Floor Channel
The raised design of the under floor channel draw bar allows liquid manure to flow into a channel installed underneath the manure alley. The channel can be made of concrete, circular or rectangular, or corrugated PVC pipe. During the cleaning stroke, a portion of the manure runs into the channel and is pushed towards the cross gutter by means of the integrated paddle. When using this type of scraper, the alley must be sloped towards the center allowing the liquid to naturally drip out of the manure.
Tube Scraper System
The opening in the draw bar allows manure and liquid to drain into the channel behind the paddle. This way, the paddle directs only the material from the previous cleaning stroke towards the cross gutter. A wheel positioned at the rear of the scraper pushes material into the tube to keep the groove free from any obstruction.
