All of our locations are connected via a corporate Wide Area Network (WAN). GEA IT supports all global applications, including business-critical SAP systems, the SharePoint-based enterprise collaborative platform and Microsoft Office on desktops.
The IT Infrastructure team is responsible for operational services, including the implementation of Lync collaboration services, unified communication and switches. They work together with the Global Applications Team to ensure that all new applications and services are made available to users, based on business requirements.
It is therefore essential that our IT professionals possess a range of capabilities. We employ those with expert knowledge in their specific area and who have good project management skills. Working with teams in an international environment also requires effective communication and collaboration skills.
